Carol Nolan suspended by Sinn Féin

Sinn Féin TD Carol Nolan was today suspended from the party after she voted against legislation to allow for the referendum on the Eighth Amendment.

Last night in Dáil, Ms Nolan courageously voted against the party and the representatives around her by declaring, “I am proud to say that I have strong pro-life views”.

Sinn Féin supports repealing the Eighth Amendment, but Offaly TD Ms Nolan voted against the Referendum Bill in the Dáil.
