Presidential Election 2018

There will be a Presidential election in November of this year. From 1997 until 2011, the incumbent of the office was from the 6 counties but still Irish citizens in the north have will not have the right to vote in November. The current Fine Gael government talk about not having a hard border on the island of Ireland, yet they enforce a hard border on the human right to vote.
Irish citizens in the north don’t have the same rights as those just across the border. This is unacceptable to all Irish republicans!
Cherish will be fighting for equal rights for ALL Irish citizens during the Presidential election campaign and we urge everyone to join us in this fight.
To the campaign we have published an online petition which we ask everyone to sign and share.
